Hi, welcome back to C-News. My name is Helene Johansen. Caverion’s mission is smart solutions and happy customers. Today we are going to take you to Germany where you can see how Caverion is ensuring the happiness of our customer MTU. Then we’ll check in with Sweden, where we’re using smart solutions to take care of our planet, through renewable energy solutions. After that we’ll see how we are improving the safety of our employees, before last, we’ll present this year’s winners of the Golden Helmet awards. Stay tuned. Together with Caverion, the aircraft engine manufacturing company MTU is flying high – achieving great results. At the very core of this successful project is a coaching approach. Patrik Uharcek of Caverion and Rupert Mayr of MTU believe that development, vision, inspiration and motivating others are the keys to success. At the site there is always one person for each function from Caverion’s side and MTU’s side, working together as a team. That is really important, because they fulfil each other’s competencies. There is always one person in the team that knows something that the others doesn’t. That was impressive! Now, let’s see how our colleagues in Sweden are utilising smart solutions. As Caverion provides a range of life-cycle solutions for buildings and industries, the selection of sustainable solutions provided to our customers continues to grow. In Sweden, Caverion is cooperating with Gotlands Energi installing solar panels. Let’s have a look at what our customer’s representative, Malin Bäckman has to say about the work. We cooperate with Caverion because we needed a partner who could help us install the solar panels. We go on client visits together and help each other with the calculations for the client. Caverion then performs the installations on the roof and also does the electrical installations. Wow, great words from Sweden! No doubt the use of smart solutions like solar panel will continue to grow in the future, to the benefit of us all. Environment issues are timeless, and something else that never goes out of fashion is work safety. At Caverion work safety is everyone’s business. When our employees are safe at work, they can fully focus on their tasks. During the last three years Caverion has achieved great results in work safety. Our accident frequency rate has decreased from the year’s 2015 figure 8.2 to 5.7 reported in the end of 2017. These are significant steps towards zero incidents, and the results of our proactive work safety work are now showing. In order to prevent incidents Caverion has a variety of e-learnings available. It is mandatory for every Caverion employee to go through a work safety learning. This also includes office employees. We have noticed that best way to increase work safety is awareness of safety-related topics. This is extremely important, because when our employees know that safety comes first, they are not afraid of reporting possible work safety issues. As you can see, the safety of our employees are extremely important. But, so is recognition of our employees. That’s why we have for the fifth time in a row rewarded people and teams that have done exceptionally well in Caverion, with the Golden Helmet Awards. Now let’s see who the winners are.
