Tesla earnings call, Model 3 on track, Tesla repair shops and service | Tesla News

Tesla earnings call had revealed a wider than
expected loss in Q1, but record sales have boosted revenues to double from a year ago. Company had also assured the investors that
the Model 3 production prep is on track to begin in July. Tesla SolarCity will no longer sell its products
door to door. The sales technique is outdated and does not
go well with the general Tesla sales strategy. Instead home energy products like solar panels
and the power wall will be sold through Tesla showrooms. The company had also confirmed its plans to
expand its certified body shop network and to utilize remote diagnostics to improve long
wait times. In addition to that, Tesla also plans to open
its own body shops as well as launch a fleet of mobile service vehicles for those repairs
that do not require a trip to a facility. Tesla stock had closed at $308.35 on Friday
down almost two percent for the week. That’s it for now, see you next week and
remember to stay charged!

  1. Question for viewers: How long have you had to wait for your car to be repaired or serviced at your last visit?

  2. Wouldn't the little battery in the bottom left corner be better if it started on empty and coincided with you saying "Stay charged" just as it reaches 100%? It just feels like it's reinforcing range-anxiety the way it is.
